I believe it was around 7-8 years ago.
I was still working as an assistant manger for Jiffy Lube.
I had exactly $666.86 In my savings account. It was June 6.
(I shit you not, I only remember because we wanted to get beer for later that night, and it was payday.)
My "Wifey fo' lifey" and I were riding around on quads, by the train tracks near her house.
First?
We were 100% sober and rode all the time.
We were heading down a steep hill, long grassy hay type area, rocks all over the place. I somehow used the front brakes, ended up tumbling down the hill 30+ ft. Over rocks and all. The quad was a bigger one, can't remember the exact size. It wasn't one of those tiny fucks. This was a big boy, I couldn't lift it off me if I tried to alone.
The whole way down, I was literally doing a tumble salt, with the quad. I'm a small person, 5'5'' 120lbs. ( Was 114lbs at the time). This thing was 2, maybe 3 times my weight.
I was hitting my head and back the ENTIRE way down the hill with this thing landing on me. Reached the bottom of the hill, I was upside down with this giant quad on top of me. My friend rode over to me to check on me, watched me literally lift myself and quad up, while upside down, quad still on top of me, as if it weighed nothing. I got up with only my pants at the knees ripped and a small scratch.
I should have broken anything. Something. Cracked my head.
Literally, nothing. I was 99.99% fine.
Later on? We were going up a small dirt bike trail, I was putting my leg down as if I were on a bike, something I'm use to doing. Was riding dirt bikes before quads.
Ran my entire leg over with the quad, and pulled myself off it. I got stuck under it, with my leg in such a fucked up position, should have been broken or dislocated in some type of way.
I got up, 0 scratch. 0 pain. I just needed my friend to get the quad off me, because I literally couldn't reach the throttle.
Ah, and we used the Ouija board the night before.
I got into a car accident on my street. It it was super late, I was coming home from a tournament, and I had just went from overnight shifts, to early morning shifts.
Now, I'm not a religious person. I know there's unexplainable things out there, but this still has me fucked up.
In 2 years, I had around 6 different dreams of me crashing my car, into trees by my house. I was always thinking of it, how dark it was, the areas it took place in, and how all were within 2 miles from my home. April 201(3)? Around 1:30am, Fell asleep at the wheel. Woke up as my street came up. Turned the wheel hard, because I was in a daze, I slid on the sand and dirt from the sanders/salt trucks from winter. I proceeded to slide into trees. My phone slid off my driver seat in the crash. (I always have my phone by my right leg on the seat, or passenger seat incase something happens.)
I still don't know how I got out of my car. My driver side door wouldn't open more than 2 inches, and I managed to get out. I ran up the street, probably 1/4 mile, saw a house with a light on. I ran to it, knocked on the door, and asked to use their phone.
A very nice woman opened the door, expecting her daughters friend "Janessa" (Mind you, around 10 years ago someone asked if that was my name, since then, it's now happened 5 times).
She saw my nose bleeding, pouring blood. I had no idea. I was in a panic. When she greeted me at her front door she said, "Oh my goodness! Honey! What happened? Are you okay? Don't worry. My name is Mary. I'm a good Christian woman, please come inside."
I was hyperventilating and hysterical, asked for her phone so I could call my parents.
Later what I found out?
What was she doing at 1:30am? Reading the Bible.
Cop told me if I had hit either tree to the side 1 inch more, I probably wouldn't be here. If left tree, I'd have been severely hurt/dead due to impact.
Right side? I'd have flipped my car slightly, sending me into the swamp ahead. Probably be stuck, with my seat belt on, and had my life ended by that.
